dedicated towards operations support

EAST NORRITON, Pa. – March 22, 2016 – Mission Kids recently received a multi year grant commitment from the Comcast Foundation totaling $15,000.  The grant is dedicated to the general operating support of the Child Advocacy Center and will allow Mission Kids to focus on supporting, protecting and preserving the children’s physical and emotional well being throughout the legal process.  Since the Comcast Foundation founding in 1999, it has distributed more than $163 million in cash support for programs implemented locally in Comcast communities.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with the Comcast Foundation into 2016,” says Mission Kids CEO and Executive Director, Abbie Newman. “With the help of the Comcast Foundation, we are able to focus on our Child Advocacy programs, and help to bring healing and justice to the victims of child abuse in Montgomery County.”
