Mission Kids Receive Money to Support Victims of Child Abuse

Mission Kids, a non-profit organization aimed at combating child abuse in Montgomery County, received $25,000 from Clemens Family Markets, $20,000 from Comcast, $15,000 from the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation, $1,500 from the North Penn Rotary Club, $700 from Lynn Apfelbaum Jewelry and $1,200 from the District Attorney's Office, raised in honor of Sharon Wagner. The organization raised $35,000 from their fundraiser in October for a total of $95,000 to support victims of child abuse.

Mission Kids’ First Annual Speed Towards Hope Event Raises Over $175,000 Towards Child Advocacy Center

Norristown, PA, April 2, 2009— Mission Kids, a non-profit organization aimed at easing the criminal justice process for abused children in Montgomery County, raised over $175,000 at their First Annual Speed Towards Hope Event. The benefit, held last night from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Simeone Foundation Antique Car Museum, was a great success with an impressive 350 supporters in attendance.
