The Mouse Who Went Surfing Alone - Internet Safety Book

Children now have a friendly way to remind them how to safely surf the internet thanks to Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman. Ferman recently authored “The Mouse Who Went Surfing Alone” a colorful, child-friendly book about the dangers lurking on line when children use the internet without parental supervision. The book tells the story of Wesley, a young mouse who went surfing alone, and encountered a number of dangerous sea predators, including a barracuda and a shark that is disguised as a dolphin.

Due to the generous support of the Verizon Foundation, Kindergarten students in Montgomery County received copies of DA Ferman’s book. Ferman, along with Dan Reavy, Director of External Affairs for Verizon Pennsylvania, representatives from Mission Kids and law enforcement read the book to children in several Montgomery County elementary schools as part of an internet safety initiative.

The book makes a great birthday or holiday gift for children and is available for purchase at www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0615503470/ref=dp_olp_0
