Mission Kids needs dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference for kids in Montgomery County. Listed here are some volunteer opportunities that are flexible and allow for a range of time commitment and abilities.

Administrative - Volunteers are asked to do general office work including typing, data entry, filing, copying, answering the phones and processing mail.

Building and Maintenance - Volunteers are needed to assist with any decorating or repair needs to help keep the Center warm and inviting.

Community Outreach/ Publicity - Volunteers are needed to help with the publication of our newsletter requiring special skills such as writing, editing, graphic arts, design and layout. Volunteers are also needed to assist at Special Events designed to raise community awareness.

Fundraising - Volunteers are needed to identify grants, write grant applications, and to initiate or assist in a variety of fundraising activities during the year.

Young Friends of Mission Kids-  A  network of young professionals under 35 interested in supporting Mission Kids through fundraising and promoting child abuse awareness. Also a great way to network with other individuals in the same age group with similar interests. Please contact YoungFriendsMissionKids@gmail.com for more information. 

All volunteers performing tasks directly at Mission Kids must first undergo criminal and child abuse clearance
