Mission Kids offers undergraduate internships in a variety of areas. These  positions give students the opportunity to get practical experience in their  field. Public Policy Internship (accepting 2 candidates for Summer 2020):

This position will allow emerging student leaders to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional, non-profit environment.
Mission Kids is seeking two highly motivated students looking to make a difference and expand their understanding of the issues surrounding child abuse, sex trafficking and policy change.
This internship will provide the students with a greater understanding of how research, policy, and practice interact to positively impact our community. In addition, the student will develop enhanced awareness of the structure and function of state government, federal government, NGOs and academic institutions. Interns have the opportunity to take part in local awareness events, press conferences, congressional hearings/briefings, roundtable discussions, symposiums and other events in the child abuse/anti-trafficking community to network with leading professionals.

Outreach & Development Intern (accepting 1 candidate for Summer 2020):

This position will allow undergraduate students the opportunity to gain experience the areas of community outreach, social media and public relations, database management, donor relations, and event organization. Essential skills required include exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, strong proficiency in Social Media Platforms and Website Management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ability to reach out to people, a sense of humor, and a friendly and positive professional attitude. Fundraising software experience with Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

Mission Kids is looking for Young Professionals, ages 21-40, to get involved with our organization’s ‘Young Friends of Mission Kids’ Committee. Ideal candidates should be committed to supporting the Child Advocacy Center’s mission through volunteerism, fundraising and community awareness.
