Kala Fell is the Partners in Hope Program Director, a Clinical Supervisor, and the Creative Health Services Liaison to Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center. With more than a decade of experience providing trauma-focused therapy to children and families, Kala brings a deep understanding of how disclosures, investigations, and court processes affect a child’s healing. She oversees the Partners in Hope clinical team, ensuring coordinated, trauma-informed care that strengthens outcomes for victims and caregivers.
Kala holds certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), including advanced training to treat complex trauma, children impacted by commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC), and youth with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), has completed all training requirements for the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), and is an Approved Supervisor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Kala presents on trauma, child abuse response, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. She helps investigators, prosecutors, law enforcement, and Child Advocacy Center professionals understand therapeutic processes, anticipate common family dynamics, and streamline support both during and after a case. Her practical, grounded approach empowers MDT members to respond with clarity, compassion, and clinical insight.
