Carly Morris holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, and Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University, as well as a master’s degree in Criminology and Deviance from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is passionate about guiding children from a young age, promoting their development into resilient and engaged individuals for the future.
Before joining Mission Kids, Carly gained valuable experience as a preschool teacher in Virginia, where she cultivated a love for teaching and became certified in social-emotional learning curriculum. She also taught high school students in Washington, D.C., covering topics in forensic psychology, various specialties in forensic science, and the complexities of human behavior.
Carly’s journey with Mission Kids began during her undergraduate studies, when she observed alongside family advocates and forensic interviewers, and she is thrilled to return to the organization. She has a genuine passion for working with children and is dedicated to their growth and well-being. Carly firmly believes in the importance of early intervention and strives to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
In her spare time, Carly enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and watching movies, always seeking new experiences and adventures!
