About the Lesson

Learn how schools can understand Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, or “CSEC.” Participants will be learn about identifying warning signs, prevention education, fostering safety, and compassionately responding to victims. 

Explore compelling statistics underscoring the prevalence of child sexual violence, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention. Discover how educators can shift school climate by recognizing connections between students’ behavior and underlying trauma, addressing bias, and offering support instead of punishment. We’ll also discuss the introduction of sexual exploitation curriculum to facilitate open discussions on important topics.

This presentation aims to equip educators with knowledge and practical strategies to contribute to a safer environment for vulnerable children.
