While Mission Kids is no longer accepting new applicants for our free offering of this program, eligible clinicians are encouraged to apply for the EMDR Training Program facilitated by The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy. Mission Kids has been awarded PCCD Grant Funding to offer Basic Training in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR) to 25 licensed clinicians from Pennsylvania who are serving clients at, or in partnership with, their local Children’s Advocacy Center.
Training will be provided virtually by The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy.
eligibility
- To apply, a licensed clinician must be working as a clinical staff member at a CAC or must be serving CAC clients through a linkage agreement.
- It's important that you see clients while you are in training so you can apply what you learn and ask for feedback during consultation.

*Mission Kids is able to cover all training costs and will pay the training vendor directly. Any accepted participant who does not complete the training, or provide 30 days notice of cancellation, will be expected to personally reimburse the $1,595 training fee to Mission Kids.
Accepted applicants must be able to attend all training sessions within their selected cohort. Please click to review training schedules in their entirety and confirm your availability to attend all sessions in your selected cohort before applying.
Applicants may choose between Cohort A and Cohort B:
Cohort A (Early Fall):
Part II: October 4 - 6, 2024
Part III: November 1 - 2, 2024
Cohort B (Late Fall):
Part II: October 18 - 20, 2024
Part III: November 15 - 16, 2024
