Adriana's passion for helping others began in high school where she organized fundraising campaigns for orphanages in Chiapas, Mexico. A Mexico native, Adriana studied International Relations at Insituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico City. During this time, she volunteered in a library that specialized in kids with vision impairment, modifying books with textures so kids could recognize them easily. Adriana has also volunteered for Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) as a translator between lawyers and immigrants, helping them to gain legal status. She has a passion for helping vulnerable communities around the world and is thrilled to continue this work at Mission Kids. In her free time, Adriana enjoys running and hiking. She looks forward to creating a safer environment for families and kids in Montgomery County.
