Lola Quigley is a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology (May 2024). Lola is committed to creating safe environments for young children and preventing child abuse through education and awareness. During her time at La Salle, Lola not only worked hard academically but also played Division I Lacrosse for all four years, serving as Team Captain for one season. This experience honed her leadership skills and instilled a strong sense of teamwork and commitment.

Lola has developed a robust understanding of social systems and the impact of trauma, which she applies in her current role to empower children and their families, having previously worked with the Horizons program. During her time there, she developed meaningful relationships with her students, fostering both their academic and personal growth. Lola is passionate about her work with children and is thrilled to continue making a positive impact in their lives at Mission Kids.

At Mission Kids, she focuses primarily on the “ROAR” program and Safe Touches initiatives, utilizing proactive education to foster healthy relationships and safeguard vulnerable populations. Eager to make a meaningful difference, Lola is dedicated to collaborating with communities and stakeholders to raise awareness about child safety issues and support prevention efforts.

In her free time Lola enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family. She is excited to embark on her journey in child advocacy and to contribute to a safer, more informed world for the children of Montgomery County.
