Theresa Anne Lazorko brings decades of experience in accounting, finance, and business management to her role as Finance Manager at Mission Kids. A graduate of Holy Family College with a BA in Accounting, Theresa has an extensive background in nonprofit and governmental financial management, as well as training and supervising accounting professionals. Before joining Mission Kids, Theresa dedicated 25 years to education as a business and technology teacher, sharing her expertise in courses like accounting, economics, and personal finance. Her commitment to mentoring others and fostering financial literacy continues to influence her work at Mission Kids, where she ensures the organization's financial stability and growth.
Outside of work, Theresa loves experimenting with baking recipes and sharing her homemade treats with family and friends. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her enjoying long walks in nature or attending wine-tasting events to explore wines from around the world. Passionate about giving back, Theresa is actively involved in community service projects, focusing on education, and assistance for families in need, particularly in outreach efforts that provide meals for homeless shelters. Her dedication to her profession and community makes her an integral part of the Mission Kids team.
