GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am โ 4:30 pm
Work Location: Hybrid remote for office in East Norriton, PA 19401
Position Summary:
The Finance Associate will assist the Finance Team in maintaining records of financial transactions, preparing and submitting required financial reports, and assisting with other administrative duties as needed. They are responsible for compiling financial data, entering bank transactions, processing payroll, generating invoices, processing payments and tracking accounts receivable. Additionally, the Finance Associate will assist in other financial tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
- Keep the accounting filing system in order
- Process deposits and check requests
- Process petty cash fund transactions
- Create Grant reporting documents and invoices
- Generate accounting reports as needed
- Provide information requested by auditors to support annual audit
- Process biweekly payroll
- Monitor the automated journal entries from Paychex to QuickBooks to ensure accuracy.
- Process account receivables and payables
- Reconcile revenue-related transactions
- Process weekly credit card transactions
- Follow standard accounting procedures and policies
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Three years of working experience in accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong communication skills
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Bachelorโs degree required, preferably in accounting, or a related field
- Successful completion of background checks, including child abuse history, criminal history, and FBI clearances
- Valid PA driverโs license and insurance and proof of auto insurance preferred
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
