Mission Kids will partner with CCTC to provide Caregiver Educational Support Group

Beginning in January 2019, Mission Kids will partner with Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) to offer a Caregiver Educational Support Group.

The Caregiver Education & Support Group will assist parents in developing an understanding related to trauma, the symptoms that occur following a trauma, how trauma impacts children of different age ranges, and the impact of trauma on families.

The groups will focus on providing a safe place for caregivers to come together as a group to participate in activities and discussions that will support them in gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to help their families stabilize and recover from traumatic and stressful experiences.

When: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month
Start Date: January 9th, 2019
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
